Don't forget to curl the ribbons

This is my favorite time of year. The weather is changing (as much as it can change in CA), and the Christmas lights, along with the "snow" are up at Disneyland. I had the pleasure of meeting up with some friends at Disneyland yesterday, not knowing that some of my family was there too. It was a party. Walking around the park kills my joints, but it's something I just have to do. I would take all the pain, to hang out with my friends again. :)

Back to the Christmas season. I have already began shopping, which is the first time I have ever started shopping early! I LOVE buying gifts for other people. Just seeing smiles on their faces is enough to bring me joy. Although, I have to say I am a pretty good gift receiver as well. ;) I have the tendency to get emotional and cry. I guess it's that I never really expect anything, so when I am handed something, I get really excited. I have to admit though, and as corny as this sounds, it feels like everyday is Christmas. Everyday is gift and I ready to unwrap it and check out all of the surprises. I never know what is going to happen, sometimes I will pull the ribbons off slow to take precautions, but other times, I just rip right through it. Although, sometimes don't you wish there was a gift receipt?

Alright, enough with the analogies, I am extremely excited and stressed out about the weeks to come. I can already tell that 2010 is going to be another amazing year, as along as I make it through the final weeks of 09. Work had been slow for the past couple weeks, and now it's in overdrive. I am a little overwhelmed with it all and trying to keep it all balanced. Once I get over this mountain, there is some exciting events coming up. As for now, I am going to plow through this, and continue finding my strengths. <3
